Rusted Nail Recordings

roughly, since 1996

About

Rusted Nail Recordings was the moniker for recordings of the band Numbskull (Corpus Christi) that evolved into a DIY recording project by it's drummer, Billy Sierra-Lenhart. As one of the last generations to expirence the isolation and perpetual poverty of South Texas, it has become to serve as a time capsule into the energies and passions of the Coastal Bend and the greater Rio Grande Valley's youth from 1996-2001; releasing CD's from bands like Second Best (Corpus Christi), brokenheartsclub, 18 Hours (Mission), The Instigators (Harligen), ...The Last Word (Anaville) and No Less My Life.

In 2002 brokenheartsclub made an exodus to Austin and countinued to use the label for it's last release. Since then Rusted Nail has continued releasing music from Laslow, Come and Take It, One Against Many, and others.
